- June 4: Problem Set #9 has been posted, with due date Friday, June 12. It will be treated as extra credit that can enhance your grade. However, if you choose not to submit it, you will not be penalized. (But try it - you'll like it!)
- May 28: Problem Set #8 has been posted, with due date Friday, June 5. Solutions to P.S. #7 are also now posted.
- May 22: Problem Set #7 has been posted, with due date Thursday, May 28.
- May 21 (later): Handouts on constellation shaping, lattices, and precoding for ISI channels have been posted.

- May 14: The Midterm Exam is here. It is due at the start of class on Tuesday, May 19. Good luck!
- May 10: Be sure to have computed before class on Tuesday (May 12) the shaping gain provided by the 256-point circular constellation over the 256-QAM constellation. Please bring your answer to class.

Many are also available via IEEE Xplore. If you have trouble getting any of these documents, please let me know and I will give you my copy.

- April 3: CORRECTION TO P.S. #1 For your first assignment, it was intended that you only solve the first 2 problems in the posted P.S. #1. Problems 3 and 4 were meant to be included in P.S. #2. The correct version of P.S. #1 (which includes just Problems 1 and 2) is now posted in revised Assignment #1. My apologies for the clerical error.
- April 2: The deadline for submission of P.S. #1 has been extended to Thursday, April 9.
